Carter Tolleson is recognized on the cover of D CEO Magazine’s special edition December issue. He is listed in the Dallas 500 Banking and Finance Section as one of the most influential business leaders in North Texas for the third year. Tolleson was nominated and chosen by the editors of D Magazine after months of research and personal interviews. This personal and engaging look at powerful business leaders is highly selective and encompasses more than 60 business categories.

“I take client service extremely seriously, but culture inside the firm is equally important,” explained Tolleson. “Maintaining both a strong culture and the highest level of service is a full-time job.”

Tolleson oversees key strategic, marketing, and policy determinations for the company and takes care of operations for all its lines of business. He also serves as President and CEO of Tolleson Private Bank, where he manages Tolleson Private Trust, the firm’s Trust company, and all credit decisions. With 19 years in the industry, he continues to strive for both a strong culture and the highest level of client service.

Dallas 500 is an annual publication produced by the editors of D CEO. Dallas 500 features the region’s most influential leaders across the region in about 60 different industry categories. D CEO editors leverage extensive contacts in local business circles and do hundreds of interviews and perform months of research to compile the list. Influence can wane; each year, new names are added while others fall off. To qualify, executives and other influential leaders must be based in the DFW region, submit an application and respond to a questionnaire provided by D. CEO. The Dallas 500 is not an awards program or a vote-based list. All decisions are made by the editors, and the number of recommendations an individual receives is not a consideration factor. Tolleson Wealth Management applied to for this award and did not pay to participate.
