Tolleson Wealth Management employees visited a variety of schools this season including Texas Christian University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University for career fairs and information sessions about internships and entry-level positions. Nearly 20 employees from the Human Resources, Client Advisory and various specialty teams met with and talked to students about services, career paths and development opportunities with Tolleson Wealth Management.

“We love to participate in Career Fair Information Sessions to speak directly with students and give some insight into our culture,” explained Human Resources Business Partner, Meredith Walker, about the recruiting process. “We prefer to treat the sessions like casual conversations so that we can give examples to students about how we handle all things financial for our clients. We place a high value on finding the right candidates for the internship programs offered because full-time opportunities can develop from these experiences. Every intern is placed with a mentor and regularly meets with a manager to learn the many family office services provided to clients.”

“I started my career at Tolleson Wealth Management in 2013 as an intern. That internship experience prepared me to transition into a full-time analyst on the client advisory team, then a senior analyst and I was recently promoted to manager a few months ago,” explained Shiv Patel. “Tolleson Wealth Management is truly committed to developing and retaining young talent, as seen through myself and others at the firm.”
