Tolleson Wealth Management was pleased to recognize the 25 new promotions announced in 2022. From this talented group, we are excited to highlight our three new managing directors.

Susan Wells Jenevein was promoted to Managing Director of Philanthropy and Family Engagement.

Jenevein joined Tolleson Wealth Management in 2018 from a 20-year career in philanthropy working with high-net worth donors and fundraising teams. As a charitable planning specialist, she works with families to implement strategies that help meet their needs related to non-profit relationships and charitable trusts. In her new role, Jenevein will continue to lead the firm’s philanthropy and family engagement services as she works with clients to design transformational philanthropy to help protect family wealth and identity for generations.

Justin Thompson and Micahl Wester were promoted to Managing Directors on the Client Advisory Team.

Starting in public accounting and working with single-family offices, Thompson was hired in 2014 as a senior analyst for Tolleson Wealth Management. Since then, he has been promoted three times to his current role as Managing Director. Beyond serving multi-generational families, Thompson works strategically to shape the client experience through the implementation of communication technologies.

Wester joined the firm in 2007 as an analyst and has been promoted continuously through her decade-long career at Tolleson Wealth Management. In addition to serving client families, she is responsible for the advisory team staffing and capacity planning. Wester remains active in developing, coaching, and training team members for their future success.

Through their growth and firm impact through the years, Thompson and Wester have become trusted advisors for some of the company’s most complex relationships. In addition to their client work, they have demonstrated strong leadership within their teams and the firm, leading key initiatives and paving the way for a better employee and client experience.

In their new roles, Thompson and Wester will continue to serve client families while assuming a more strategic role in the leadership of the multi-disciplinary Client Advisory Team.

“We are proud of these individuals and their contributions to our firm,” said Richard Joyner, President of Tolleson Wealth Management. “We remain laser-focused on meeting the needs of our client families, and the growth we have experienced is a testament to great people who put clients’ needs first.”
