Tolleson Wealth Management employees attended the 2018 Securities Software & Consulting (SS&C) Deliver Conference in Las Vegas last month. The conference was a collaboration of leading firms in both financial services and technology. They discussed trends in asset management through keynote sessions, workshops and panel discussions.

Jennifer Kirksey, Wealth Operations Managing Director, gave a presentation on “Helping Your Firm Scale Data.” She discussed the importance of investing in data management utilizing technology solutions. “Partnering with firms that place a high value on the accuracy and timeliness of data is key for a successful client portal,” Kirksey explained. “Continued investment on the front-end has led to improvement in reconciliation and completion times, as well as the number of exceptions processed. Integrity, transparency and control of our data in our technology solution allows our firm to focus on what we do best, serve clients.”

Owen Smith, Business Applications Director, spoke with a panel on “Using Models to Fuel Scale and Growth in Your Practice.” He focused on demonstrating how the firm has invested in people and technology to create a superior client experience. Smith highlighted the importance of our investment team and operations team working side-by-side on models and software to better execute transactions on behalf of clients.

“Tolleson Wealth Management has invested in technology that allows efficient portfolio implementation and easy changes. These efficiencies allow for advisors to spend more time on what is most valuable to each client, whether that be family education, philanthropy or more,” said Smith.
