Greg Hall Promoted to Senior Managing Director, Client Advisory Team
Tolleson Wealth Management is pleased to announce Greg Hall has been promoted to Senior Managing Director of the Client Advisory Team. With more than 30 years of industry experience — the past 22 at Tolleson — Greg brings a deep understanding of client service and an established tenure of implementing complex financial planning solutions for families. In his new role as head of the Client Advisory Team, he will lead the day-to-day operations and oversight of the coordination of family office services.
Greg has specialized in serving wealthy clients throughout his career. He most recently served as a managing director and senior advisor, responsible for comprehensive financial planning for clients and their families. In his new role as Senior Managing Director of the Client Advisory Team, he will retain his senior advising responsibilities with clients while concurrently leading the advisory team. In the long term, Greg will apply his leadership, management, and advisory skills to build on the team, define the department’s vision and goals, serve families of wealth with excellence, and uphold the Tolleson legacy.
“Greg Hall was one of the first hires we made in 2001, and his contributions over the years cannot be overstated in terms of how our Client Advisory Team supports our clients and their families,” President and CEO Carter Tolleson said. “Our goal is to bring client families an unrivaled personal experience and we have grown under that vision since our beginnings as a single-family office. We want our clients to continue to feel valued, and we know Greg will lead our team forward successfully while maintaining the heart of what makes us who we are as advisors.”
Tolleson Wealth Management is a privately-owned and family-run business that exists to simplify life for wealthy individuals and their families. Established in 1997 as a family office for the Tolleson family, its comprehensive family office services help clients navigate their inherent complexities. Tolleson has seen significant growth in recent years, surpassing $8 billion in assets under management, with the addition of a new office in University Park to complement its original Highland Park location. This new University Park office at 8111 Douglas Avenue will also house a new bank branch in a premier and accessible space on the ground floor of the building.
“I have always believed that what we do here at Tolleson matters to our client families,” Greg said. “The experience is simply different from the transactional nature of other firms — we take the time to understand each client’s situation and create a strategy that benefits them rather than focusing on checking whatever box benefits us. I am excited about this new opportunity, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
Greg serves on the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. Before joining the Tolleson team, he was Senior Manager of the personal financial planning group at the Dallas office of KPMG. He graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University, where he earned his Master of Science in Accounting with a tax concentration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Greg is a Certified Financial Planner™ and an investment advisor representative. He also serves as an Emeritus Member of the Texas Tech Rawls Business School Advisory Council, assisting in mentoring students, networking with graduates, and scholarship fundraising.
