Highlighting our Women on International Women’s Day

Women Leaders of Tolleson brought in Katherine Wagner, CEO of Business Council for the Arts, to discuss the art in Dallas and how the business community can engage with the arts community. She gave an overview of the impact of art and how the culture benefits from a strong art community.

Women Leaders of Tolleson was a group founded in 2021. The program aims to provide a safe and supportive learning and sharing environment to Tolleson’s female staff. It addresses challenges and issues that tend to disproportionately impact working women and provides programming designed to inform, educate, and inspire each woman regardless of where she may be on her career journey. When Tolleson launched Women Leaders of Tolleson, it started simply with a few women meeting over lunch to share stories of encouragement and resources. It has now turned into a group of more than 130 women meeting monthly to hear various perspectives about thriving in a male-dominated industry.

Women represent more than half of its total employees, and Tolleson proudly continues to invest in and celebrated its women leaders.
