Rising seniors, Cullen Scott and Keaton Jones, worked as part of the Client Advisory Team in their Private Wealth Management internship role this summer.

“I was able to work hands-on seeing the breath of services Tolleson Wealth Management provides to clients,” says Cullen. He enjoys the complex work he is completing within investment and estate planning. “It is rewarding to see an impact within the community through families.”

Shiv Patel started his career with Tolleson Wealth Management in 2013 as an intern and now is a Manager on the Client Advisory Team. He says, “I have seen how truly committed Tolleson Wealth Management is to develop and retain young talent through myself and others at the firm, so I try my best to do the same with our interns each summer.” Shiv manages the Private Wealth Management interns each summer and helps guide them through their projects as they work with different departments.

“We have the ability to be proficient in all areas of the business,” said Keaton. He goes onto explain how the internship always keeps him on his toes. “I enjoy that there is something new every day and we only touch the same work a handful of times.”

Tolleson Wealth Management cares about maintaining a strong culture that values young professionals and their career development. Both Cullen and Keaton describe the culture and people as a bonus. Keaton believes the friendships he has made are only possible due to employees “openness and willingness” to get to know him.

Cullen, a student at Southern Methodist University, and Keaton, a student at Texas Christian University, both heard about the summer internship through their university resources.
