Tolleson Team Supports New Partnership for Affordable Housing in West Dallas
Tolleson Private Bank backs Builders of Hope partnership project, creating affordable housing in West Dallas.
When the opportunity to partner with Builders of Hope Community Development Corporation (CDC) to build affordable housing in West Dallas arose, the Tolleson team was excited to be involved. Tolleson Private Bank is continuously collaborating with various organizations to create ways for Dallas families to live and prosper in a supportive community.
Dallas Morning News quoted nonprofit housing developer CEO James Armstrong in his overview of the project at its groundbreaking ceremony, saying this project “can be a model to help solve the housing affordability crisis.”
The project was several years in the making and, in November of this year, Alta Mantsch (Senior Vice President and Regulatory Compliance Officer, pictured left) spoke on behalf of Tolleson Private Bank at the ceremony for the construction of these homes. Builders of Hope CDC has committed to build 20 new homes in the area and Tolleson Private Bank, along with other lenders in Dallas, will provide construction financing to accomplish this mission.
Mantsch is a tireless advocate for affordable housing and regularly collaborates with developers and lenders to further causes like this. Joining her in making this project happen is fellow Tolleson Private Bank team members Mark Foxworth (Vice President and Credit Manager) and Jennifer Normile (Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager).
The Tolleson team recognizes the importance of wealth-building for families. This project is one example of an impactful way wealth generation through homeownership can become a reality.
