Tolleson Wealth Management Named a Top Dallas 100 Company in Dallas Business Journal

Tolleson Wealth Management was recently featured in the Dallas Business Journal 2023 Dallas 100™ rankings as the 56th fastest-growing private company in North Texas. Headed by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU’s Cox School of Business, this annual ranking distinguishes Tolleson for its growth and performance over the last year.

Moving up nearly 30 spots from its #84 ranking in 2022, Tolleson continues to carry out its mission of serving clients and their families will all things financial.

Collectively, the 2023 Dallas 100-ranked companies generated more than $11 billion in earnings from 2020 to 2022, the last year for which complete financial records are available. Over that same time, all 100 companies created nearly 14,000 jobs and grew average sales by 146%.

SMU’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship ranks the area’s top 100 entrepreneurial companies based on percentage growth and absolute dollar growth over the previous three years, emphasizing their contributions to the Dallas area economy. The winners represent a broad spectrum of businesses from Dallas and 16 surrounding cities.

Disclosure about award calculation: This listing was published by Dallas Business Journal on Friday, November 10. To qualify for the Dallas 100 competition, companies must have revenue earnings of $500,000 to $100 million dollars. Winners were chosen based on applications submitted by the company and judged based on sales growth over the last three years, credit reports, and character satisfaction to the judges. Companies must be headquartered in DFW, be independent, privately held corporations, proprietorships, or partnerships as of May 1, 2023. The company must have at least three years of history with sales of at least $500,000, but less than $74 million in the first of the three years. More information about the award is linked here.
