Tolleson’s Partnership with Bonton Farms Named Finalist for 2023 D CEO Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards
Listening to an inspiring community story is powerful and motivates you to make an impact. This is a feeling many Tolleson employees shared hearing Bonton Farms founder Daron Babock tell his story during an all-company meeting in the spring of 2022.
CEO Carter Tolleson introduced Daron and Bonton Farms as Tolleson’s most recent “Community Connections” partner. Bonton Farms is a nonprofit organization in the south Dallas community with two fully functioning farms, a Farmer’s Market, a Café, and Coffee House – an urban farm redefining a community.
We are excited to share D CEO has named the partnership between Tolleson and Bonton Farms a “Corporate Partner of the Year” finalist in its 2023 Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards program.
As part of its Community Connections partnership program, Tolleson nominates, votes on, and aligns with a community partner for two years. For 2022-2023, Tolleson is supporting non-profit Bonton Farm and its mission to transform lives by disrupting systems of inequity, laying a foundation where change yields health, wholeness, and opportunity as the norm.
Tolleson is a lead sponsor for the Senior Housing Improvement Program (2022) and Soulshine Concert Series (2023). Walking side-by-side with Bonton Farms, the team supports the organization through event sponsorship, financial wellness initiatives, volunteer activities, and company-wide drives.
