Director Courtney Joyner Recognized in People Newspapers 20 Under Forty
We are proud to celebrate Philanthropy and Family Engagement Director Courtney Joyner for her recognition as a 20 Under Forty honoree in People Newspapers. This category highlights those in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow that are making a difference, embodying what it means to be an active member of their community.
Courtney assists in leading the firm’s philanthropic team, helping to make charitable giving seamless and fulfilling for client families. In her family engagement work, she partners with clients to develop a customized process to promote an engaged, resilient, and thriving family for generations. Since her hire in 2015, she has made significant internal contributions including launching the firm’s reverse mentoring program. She continues to play an integral role in leading the company’s philanthropic visions and helping Tolleson uplift the mission of giving back.
Yesterday, Joyner attended People Newspapers’ celebratory reception for all honorees at Communities Foundation of Texas.

About the 20 Under 40
The nomination process includes recommendation letters, career accomplishments, community ties, and philanthropic work. All honorees are picked by a committee composed of newspaper staff, members of the Park Cities Rotary, and a past 20 Under Forty recipient.
People Newspapers solicited recommendations from its readers, and through an editorial process, considered career accomplishments, community ties, and philanthropic work to determine the final twenty recipients. Final honorees were hand-picked by a section committee made up of newspaper staff, members of the Park Cities Rotary, and a past 20 Under Forty recipient. Tolleson Wealth Management did not pay to participate in this award. The award was given on January 27, 2023 in light of efforts over the course of the last year.
