Tolleson Wealth Management and Tolleson Private Bank both rank in Dallas Business Journal’s 2021 lists for various accomplishments over the last two years.

Most notably, Tolleson Wealth Management is ranked the second largest wealth management firm in Dallas-Fort Worth based on assets under management. The firm was also recognized as a “Dallas 100” company by The Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU’s Cox School of Business, distinguishing it in its list of 100 fastest-growing private companies in North Texas. A reception later this week will honor these nominees and their growth. The leadership team is continuing to steer a people-first organization that honors the work of its team, the family-founded roots it thrives on, and the dedication it continues to uphold serving client families.

Tolleson Private Bank is also listed in Dallas Business Journal’s top banks list. A nod to its 2020 success, as the bank saw its largest yearly growth in its 17-year history in 2020, Tolleson Private Bank’s loans and deposits continue to increase. The bank’s hardworking staff remains committed to customer service and, like its wealth management counterpart, puts its focus on serving its clients.

Firms were ranked based on assets under management and number of clients. The information in this ranking was obtained from individual companies through questionnaires through the Dallas Business Journal. Each year, the Dallas Business Journal surveys wealth management firms in the region. This year 113 inquiries were sent out and 30 firms responded. Banks were ranked by Dallas Business Journal based on local deposits and market share data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporations’ annual market share report. The FDIC report included local banks and encompasses the year from June 30, 2020 to June 30, 2021. Dallas 100 winners were chosen based on applications submitted by the company and judged based on sales growth over the last three years, credit reports, and character satisfaction to the Dallas 100 judges. Companies must be headquartered in DFW, be independent, privately held corporations, proprietorships or partnerships as of May 1, 2021. The company must have at least three years history with sales of at least $500,000, but less than $75 million in the first of the three years.
