As children gear up to head back to school, the school supply shopping season is in full swing. In the spirit of teamwork and giving back, employees from Tolleson Wealth Management volunteered at Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) to help count and sort the flux of school supplies coming in. CPD serves more than 2,400 children in Dallas each year by providing essential items like pencils, notebooks and uniforms. At its warehouse, CPD makes sure to educate all volunteers about its mission: to ensure safety and restore dignity and hope to abused and neglected children. “I enjoyed learning about the programs that CPD supports and I felt like I was making a difference,” said Heather Guidry, Compliance Analyst and Bank Officer at Tolleson Private Bank.

Tolleson Wealth Management has partnered with CPD since 2007. Every year, the Firm hosts a company-wide competition to collect school supplies in July and August, contributing more than 20,000 supplies annually.
