Claire Wheatley

Claire Wheatley, CPA*, is the Director of Family Reporting at Tolleson Wealth Management. She works closely with families to deliver simplified, comprehensive financial reporting and operational support. Her expertise includes translating complex activity into clear, decision-ready financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and streamlining bill pay and cash-flow processes.

Claire began her career at Deloitte, where she served as an Audit Manager focused on delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service. She later transitioned into a large single-family office, serving as Accounting Manager of Incubator Services. In this role, she partnered with family members to support the operational and financial needs of their start-ups and small businesses, including operational strategy, bill pay execution, financial reporting, and ongoing bookkeeping.

Claire earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Illinois, where she was a four-year letter winner on the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. She also holds an MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business with a concentration in Strategy and a minor in Data Analytics. In her free time, Claire enjoys knitting, reading, and staying active at the gym and Katy Trail.
