John David Hodges
John David Hodges, CTFA, ATFA, is a Senior Vice President and Director for Tolleson Trust Company. John David assists in the management and oversight of fiduciary accounts where the Company is named as trustee, executor, co-fiduciary, or agent. He works closely with clients and advisors to help ensure clients’ goals and planning are seamlessly integrated into all aspects of their wealth.
John David started his professional career at Tolleson in 2019 as a Private Trust Administration Officer. He has since been promoted three times into his current role as Senior Vice President and Director. John David served as President of Tolleson’s Culture Committee in 2021 and 2022 and remains an active advocate and mentor to junior team members across the firm. He is an active member of two local estate planning councils and serves on the Advisory Board of the Trust Education Foundation, whose mission is to keep financial and legal professionals informed on critical issues and legislative changes in wealth management.
John David graduated in 2019 from Campbell University with a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Trust and Wealth Management, and a minor in Financial Planning. He holds both the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Fiduciary Trust Advisor (AFTA) designations, evidencing a deep expertise in the trust and fiduciary field, from foundational administration to advanced planning and leadership. Prior to joining Tolleson, John David had multiple fiduciary administration internships with large financial institutions in both Las Vegas and Philadelphia. Outside the office, John David and his wife, Marin, enjoy spending time with family, time at the beach, and time with their labradoodle, Wynnie.
