Liz Lean

Liz Lean, CPA,* is a Managing Director and Head of Tax Strategy at Tolleson Wealth Management. She leads the firm’s tax advisory efforts, providing strategic direction and oversight for the planning needs of families of significant wealth. Working closely with the client advisory team, Liz develops proactive, multi-year strategies that coordinate investment management, estate planning, trust structures, philanthropy, and generational wealth transfer. She also serves as a firmwide resource on complex tax matters, oversees investment partnership tax compliance, and helps strengthen expertise across the organization through mentorship and collaboration.

Prior to joining Tolleson, Liz Lean served as Senior Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Tax from Texas Tech University and is a registered Certified Public Accountant. Liz joined Tolleson in 2021 and began her career in 2010. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and their three children.
