Pete Chilian is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Tolleson Wealth Management. He is responsible for developing organizational strategy, maintaining robust client relationships, and leading the Tolleson investment team and platform. In this role, he is dedicated to shaping the company’s vision of providing comprehensive family office services to wealthy families, their trusts, and investment vehicles. In addition to being a member of Tolleson’s Board of Directors, he serves on the CEO Committee, SEC Compliance Committee, Trust Committee, and is Chairman of the Investment Committee.

Pete has built a distinguished career in wealth management and investment strategy for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Tolleson, he was Managing Director and Head of Texas Coverage at BDT & MSD Partners, a merchant bank that provides advisory and capital solutions to family and founder-led businesses. Prior to that, Pete spent more than two decades at J.P. Morgan, where he held several key positions within the Private Bank division such as Region Head for the South Region of the U.S. and Market Manager for the Dallas office.

Pete holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.B.A. in General Business from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is an active member of the Dallas community, serving on the boards of UT Southwestern Medical Foundation, SMU Cox School of Business Executive Board, and Goodwill Industries of Dallas. Pete is also a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, a 100-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to providing innovative mental health services, education, and professional training for children and families through the Momentous Institute.

Pete resides in Dallas with his wife of nearly 25 years, Brandi, and their two sons.
