Shannon Allcon is the Director of Brand and Communications at Tolleson Wealth Management. In her role, she partners with firm leadership to develop and execute integrated communication and marketing strategies, shaping how Tolleson is expressed across client, employee, and external touchpoints. She oversees brand standards, digital media, employee communications, events, and public relations efforts, while also supporting office management initiatives that contribute to a consistent, refined experience reflective of the firm’s service philosophy.

Shannon has 15 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, and project management. She joined Tolleson in 2014 as a Communications Associate and has advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Communications Specialist, Brand Manager, and Director. Her work reflects a dual focus on strategy and execution—ensuring that both high-level initiatives and day-to-day interactions align with the firm’s standards. Prior to joining Tolleson, she held communications roles with Texas Christian University’s College of Science and Engineering and engineering firm Freese and Nichols, Inc.

Shannon received a B.S. in Strategic Communications, graduating as an honors laureate and magna cum laude, and an M.S. in Strategic Communications from Texas Christian University. She is certified as a Communication Management Professional (CMP) and has contributed to academic research and publications on topics including social media, crisis communication, and ethics. She has been actively involved with the IABC Dallas Chapter, serving on the board from 2017 to 2019, and is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts’ Leadership Arts Institute.

When she’s not at work, Shannon is likely tending her urban garden, testing out a new sourdough recipe, or scouting a local coffee spot with her husband and three children.
