Shannon Allcon is the Brand and Communications Director for Tolleson Wealth Management. She works with leaders to develop and execute communication and marketing strategies. She is responsible for collateral design, digital media, employee communication, event marketing, and community engagement activities. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee and leads the Event Planning Committee.

Shannon has more than 10 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, and project management. She joined Tolleson Wealth Management as a Communications Associate in 2014 and was promoted to Communications Specialist in 2016, Brand Manager in 2018, and most recently to Director in 2024 to oversee all brand, marketing, and communication initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in public relations and communication positions for TCU’s College of Science and Engineering and engineering firm Freese and Nichols, Inc.

Shannon received a B.S. degree in Strategic Communications, graduating honors laureate and magna cum laude, and M.S. degree in Strategic Communications from TCU. She received certification as a Communication Management Professional (CMP) and has written a variety of academic articles accepted for presentation and publication with topics in social media, crisis, and ethics. She has volunteered with her IABC Dallas Chapter, serving on the board from 2017-2019, and is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts’ Leadership Arts Institute. In her free time, Shannon enjoys exploring the Dallas area with her husband and two children.
