Each fall and spring, Tolleson Wealth Management attends career fairs and meets students from universities across Texas and surrounding states. Career fairs ran a little differently this year, like everything else. While conversations with students were no longer in person, employees still gave students insight and created relationships.

“We try to pair employees that are university alumni with the career fairs we attend. Because they know more about the programs and schools, there is an automatic and instant connection,” explains Senior Human Resources Business Partner Meredith Walker.

Face-to-face (virtual) interaction was an opportunity for students to learn about the firm’s day-to-day operations, careers, and community. Employees from different departments across the firm talk with students about their career path desires and future development with Tolleson Wealth Management. The conversations give students a glimpse into what joining the team might look like for them.

“I look for students who are hungry, humble, and smart,” says Walker. If you are interested or know someone who is interested in interning for Tolleson Wealth Management, please check out our careers page.
