In its latest publication, Dallas Business Journal honors Carter Tolleson as a 2022 Most Admired CEO. This award is given to CEOs who deliver outstanding performance in guiding a company to success and contributing to the overall growth of the North Texas business community.

Tolleson exemplifies an admired CEO through his leadership, decision-making, and authentic style. “I believe in servant leadership and leading by example,” he explained. “I encourage feedback and collaboration from each level of the organization because I think every employee has something unique to offer. My vision as CEO is to sustain a company culture that is welcoming, transparent, and engaging.”

Looking ahead, when asked about what excited him most about the future, he told Dallas Business Journal, “Our geographic reach has expanded dramatically, taking us from a local and regional firm to a larger, national presence. By pairing that growth with our already well-established brand and institutional quality platform, we are well positioned to meet exciting new opportunities in the future.”

Tolleson began his career with Tolleson Wealth Management in 2002 as a Senior Vice President. He played a critical role in the launch of Tolleson Private Bank in 2003, which recently reached $1 billion in assets, and developing services over time to meet client needs. He was named CEO in 2017 and, in 2020, the firm celebrated its 20-year anniversary. Tolleson has spent the last two years continuing to enhance the client experience through technology, talent, and strong culture. He emphasizes the importance of remaining service-focused, which even extends to how Tolleson Wealth Management serves the broader Dallas community. Keeping culture and experience at the forefront of his initiatives, he will continue to build on his leadership journey.
