CEO Carter Tolleson Named as One of  Dallas’ 500 Most Powerful Business Leaders by D CEO

CEO Carter Tolleson is featured in D CEO’s annual Dallas 500 magazine as a top influential and powerful leader in the local banking and finance industry. This is the fourth consecutive year he was named to the special publication.

“We’re doing important and valuable work for the families we serve,” Tolleson said to employees in the last all-company meeting. “We’ve chosen a path of fulfillment. We’ve chosen to build for the long-term and we’re seeing our business grow because of it.”

In his Dallas 500 feature, he explains that relationship-building and core values are key to Tolleson Wealth Management’s success. “When you do both of those, long-term, you will be rewarded,” he said.

Tolleson was nominated and chosen by the editors of D CEO after months of research and personal interviews. This personal and engaging look at powerful business leaders is highly selective and encompasses more than 60 business categories.

Dallas 500 is an annual publication produced by the editors of D CEO. Dallas 500 features the region’s most influential leaders across the region in about 60 different categories. D CEO editors leverage extensive contacts in local business circles and do hundreds of interviews and perform months of research to compile the list. Influence can wane’ each year, new names are added while others fall off. To qualify, executives and other influential leaders must be based in the DFW region, submit an application, and respond to a questionnaire provided by D CEO. The Dallas 500 is not an awards program of a vote-based list. All decisions are made by the editors, and the number of recommendations an individual receives is not a consideration factor. Tolleson Wealth Management did not pay to participate.
