Daniel Garcia Named a Finalist for D CEO’s 2026 Corporate Leadership Excellence Award

Tolleson Wealth Management is proud to share that Daniel Garcia, Vice President and Community Lending Officer at Tolleson Private Bank, has been named a finalist for Corporate Leadership Excellence in D CEO’s 2026 Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, presented in partnership with Communities Foundation of Texas.
Now in its ninth year, the program drew nearly 900 nominations and recognizes 136 North Texas leaders and organizations whose work strengthens the region’s nonprofit community. Finalists will be highlighted in D CEO’s August issue, with category honorees revealed at an awards event in July.
Daniel’s recognition reflects a career dedicated to expanding access to homeownership and financial resources for individuals and families across North Texas. At Tolleson Private Bank, he leads the Tolleson Community Homebuyer Program and partners with nonprofits and Community Development Financial Institutions to help bridge financing gaps in the communities they serve. His expertise in mortgage banking and Community Reinvestment Act lending helps connect institutional finance with underserved borrowers across Dallas County.
Beyond his work at the bank, Daniel contributes meaningful in-kind support to the local nonprofit community. He is a frequent pro bono instructor of homebuyer education classes, sharing financial literacy and navigation skills with residents who might otherwise be excluded from the traditional housing market. He also lends his financial and governance expertise to several organizations: as Chairman of the Board of CityBuild CDC, a subsidiary of Bonton Farms; Chair of the Housing Committee for the North Texas Regional Housing Consortium; and a member of the Marketing Committee of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Dallas Chapter. He previously served as Treasurer of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and on HUD’s Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee.

From more than 900 applications, 136 finalists were announced and selected for this award program were selected by a panel of judges over multiple judging sessions based on their applications and respective contributions to the community. They will be recognized in the D CEO August issue and at an awards ceremony in July. Tolleson Wealth Management did not pay to participate in this award program.
