The Trust Department within Tolleson Private Bank had the opportunity to compete and show off their cooking skills in a Chopped Cooking Challenge in December. Team Building with Taste hosted the department for the exciting competition. Teams were judged on plate presentation, taste and judging presentation. “This Team-Building activity incorporated real-life scenarios with three chefs each giving their opinions and expertise on how to cook… the Trust Team had to assimilate the varying information and apply it to the task at hand,” said Janel Buehler, Senior Vice President, Director of Trust Operations.

The winning dish was “Proper Scotch Eggs,” prepared by Janel Buehler, Dralan Porter and Brittyn Brender.

“I think the most interesting part was seeing the different roles people took on outside the comfort of the office. At the end, we were able to try each other’s creations and everyone did a fantastic job. This event definitely required team work and collaboration,” said Laryn Carlisle, a Trust Ops Specialist.

At Tolleson Wealth Management, we prioritize development, value teamwork and believe in work-life balance. As a learning organization, we are committed to constant team-building both in and out of the office.
