Tolleson Welcomes Claire Wheatley as New Director of Family Reporting
Tolleson Wealth Management is pleased to welcome Claire Wheatley as its new Director of Family Reporting. In this role, Claire partners closely with families and advisory teams to deliver comprehensive financial reporting services designed to support the day‑to‑day administration of complex financial planning.
At Tolleson, Family Reporting is part of the integrated family office approach. Claire brings deep experience in client accounting, internal controls, and customized reporting. In this role, she will support families to translate complex activity into clear, decision-ready financial reporting, strengthen and develop strong internal controls, and streamline bill pay and cash-flow processes.
“Claire’s background across public accounting and family office environments make her uniquely suited for this role,” said Amy Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer. “She understands the technical rigor required in financial reporting, and her leadership and attention to detail will further strengthen the way we support client families.”
Before joining Tolleson, Claire began her career at Deloitte, where she advanced to an Audit Manager, delivering high-quality work and client service. She later moved into a large single-family office as Accounting Manager of Incubator Services, partnering directly with family members to support the operational and financial needs of their start-ups and small businesses. Her work spanned operational strategy, bill pay execution, financial reporting, and ongoing bookkeeping.
Claire earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Illinois, where she was a four-year letter winner on the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. She also holds an MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business with a concentration in Strategy and a minor in Data Analytics. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, reading, and staying active at the gym and along the Katy Trail.
