Employees Partner with St. Philip’s School & Community Center Through Pantry Drive
As part of Tolleson Wealth Management’s commitment to creating a meaningful impact in the Dallas community, the firm continues to proudly serve its partnership with St. Philip’s School & Community Center.
In August, employees participated in a food and supply drive to benefit the Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry, contributing nearly $3,000 in online donations and 2,000 pantry products for individuals and families served by the center. Established more than a decade ago, St. Philip’s founded its food pantry to include more families and children in its hunger programming. It strives to serve more than 750 households, 1,175 individuals by distributing 700,000 pounds of food annually, as it operates as a client-choice pantry.
“Our employees are proud to partner with St. Philip’s School and Community Center in its efforts to address hunger by donating food, paper products, and hygiene items for individuals and families in need in the South Dallas community,” shares Philanthropy Manager Amy Barton.
Employees have participated in a variety of volunteer opportunities for St. Philip’s since 2019, including etiquette training for fifth- and sixth-grade girls and hosting a holiday coat drive. Tolleson Wealth Management also sponsored the Destiny Award Luncheon in 2020 and 2021.
